78th Annual Community Awards Nominations
The Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce seeks your assistance in recognizing the people and businesses that make our community great. Nominations are due by Monday, May 6, 2024.

The 78th Annual Installation and Awards is scheduled for the evening of June 7, 2024.

All Ridgecrest and Indian Wells Valley businesses are eligible. Submit your 2024 nominations for the categories listed below by first filling out the required information. You may submit nominations for more than one category. For each nomination, please include the business or individual name you are nominating and brief reason why.

Your Business/Organization

Business / Business Person of the Year

This award recognizes a business or business person who has operated a respected business in Ridgecrest. The business should be recognized for outstanding practices, products and/or services. Involvement in the community by way of contributions to local programs, events and other services to the city of Ridgecrest and city organizations beyond business practices will be considered a plus.

Community Service Award

This award recognizes a private citizen, public servant or Ridgecrest business that volunteers to serve with organizations and/or boards or committees. This person or business has demonstrated dedication and devotion to the community with outstanding services for the benefit of our community through a variety of activities, programs, and/or initiatives which serve the needs of the community.

Innovation Award

This award recognizes a business that has demonstrated a strong ability to adapt their business and methods In response to changing demands in our community. They utilize technology to directly increase productivity, efficiency, revenue and/or profits.

Entrepreneur Award

This award recognizes a business or business person in Ridgecrest who has stepped out within the past year and developed and/or utilized innovative and creative business methods and demonstrated the entrepreneurial potential necessary for long-term business success and economic growth.

Lifetime Achievement Award

This award is for lifetime achievement, rather than for a single contribution, of distinguished service to the business community and the general community overall. This award is for demonstration of repeated outstanding leadership and services, and significant fundamental contributions and accomplishments to the improvement of our community with consideration of offices held, committee memberships, and special projects.

Beautification Award

This award is to recognize a business, property owner or organization which has made significant improvement to a site within Ridgecrest that enhances the appearance and general look of the property or the city. Improvements considered would be completion of a renovated design that upgrades an existing structure and/or incorporates the use of landscaping to enhance the aesthetic value of the property or to enhance the appearance of the city.

Youth Award

An individual or group or both under age 21 who, through personal involvement and endeavors, have answered the call of support/benefit to the community.
