Mayor Travis Endicott
City of Ridgecrest
Dr. Travis Endicott is the Mayor of Ridgecrest, California, and a program analyst at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) at China Lake. A Navy veteran and former intelligence specialist, he has built a career spanning national security, higher education, and public service.
He holds a doctorate and master’s degree in political science from the University of Mississippi, a master’s degree from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, and a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University. Dr. Endicott previously served as a political science professor and continues to teach as an adjunct in intelligence and security studies.
As mayor of Ridgecrest — a community anchored in the defense and innovation economy — he focuses on infrastructure, workforce development, and strengthening partnerships among the city, the military, and industry.
