RICHARD D. CHAPMAN

Richard Chapman was appointed President & CEO of the Kern Economic Development Corporation (KEDC) in November 2006.

Chapman’s previous positions included Executive Director of the Buckeye (Arizona) Valley Development, Inc., and Vice President for the Economic Development Council of Seattle and King County.  

Chapman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration in International Marketing from American University.

Chapman hails from Pinehurst, North Carolina—“The Golf Capital of the World”
