Mission
Statement
The Ridgecrest Chamber of
Commerce advances the economic, industrial, professional, educational, cultural,
and civic welfare for residents while promoting a healthy business climate in
Ridgecrest.
The Ridgecrest Chamber of
Commerce is over 375 members strong; membership is varied from the small
business of one employee to the area's major business employers, with over 3,000
personnel. The Chamber provides business support services, tourist information,
relocation information, and business referrals. Opportunities to promote local
business include a yearly Business EXPO, monthly seminars, general membership
monthly luncheons with business topics presented for programs, and newsletter
information regarding business issues, including local county, state, and
federal topics.
The Ridgecrest Chamber of
Commerce was established to promote the general welfare and prosperity of the
area's business community. The Chamber strives to achieve the objective of
preserving the competitive enterprise system of business by working to create a
better understanding and appreciation of the importance of business and a
concern for issues facing business. The Chamber works to educate and informs the
business community on legislative and political issues. The Chamber acts as a
liaison between municipal, county, state, and nationally elected representatives
and works to educate our representatives on the importance of a healthy and
productive business community.
Membership rates for the
Ridgecrest Chamber of Commerce are based on number of employees. For 1 to 4
employees, a business can be a member of the Chamber for approximately $12.00 a
month.
As a Chamber member, you
will be part of a community-serving network of businesses. We meet informally
many times each year so members can build business and personal relationships
with other Chamber members. Your membership is an investment in the future of
your business and the community. |
